Kathleen Holden

Kathleen Holden has been serving with CERT International since 2021 and is passionate about sharing the love of Christ through both word and action. With a background in Anthropology and a heart for people, she is committed to advancing CERT’s mission around the world.

A verse that has shaped her life is Psalm 18:19: “He brought me out into a spacious place; He rescued me because He delighted in me.” What began as a childhood promise has become a lifelong testimony of God’s faithfulness. This truth continues to inspire her passion to share the hope and love of Jesus with others.

Joshua Lenz

Team Leader

Joshua Lenz

Joshua Lenz serves as CERT’s team leader for the Peru and Uganda mission teams. He spent eighteen years in Peru as a missionary kid, including ten years interpreting for CERT medical clinics, an experience that sparked his lasting passion for missions.

Although he took time away from the mission field to pursue school and work, he never lost the desire to return. Now, having the opportunity to serve again in the mountains and jungles where he grew up feels like a full-circle moment.

Joshua is currently pursuing an MFA at Boise State University in Idaho. While free time is rare, he enjoys camping, writing songs, and taking road trips whenever he gets the chance.
